Who Works at Eskenzi PR

Yvonne Eskenzi

Yvonne Eskenzi - Director - Follow on twitter

Director and Founder of Eskenzi PR – 27 years in PR - Yvonne originally worked for non-profit organizations and charities where she learnt to be creative and resourceful, running promotional campaigns on a shoe-string.

Prior to starting her business in 1995, Yvonne was head-hunted to spearhead Rupert Murdoch’s new exhibition division at News International as Head of PR & Marketing where she launched three of the UK's largest exhibitions working alongside the Sunday Times, The Times, The Sun and News of the World. It is using these contacts on the national papers and coming from a consumer background that has enabled her to look at every IT story from a mass market angle. Seventeen years ago Yvonne set up Eskenzi PR with Infosecurity as her first client, which she and her partner, Neil have continued to work on ever since. Now she only focuses on promoting a few select companies in the IT security arena.

She is proud to have been described in the PR Week Most Rated Agencies report as “the matriarch of technology PR – what Yvonne doesn’t know about PR or her security clients cannot be categorised,” they said.

Okay so here comes the fun part – when Yvonne’s not being a “PR professional” she’s usually doing something up, like a house but right now a rather old warehouse. She loves designing stuff, anything from furniture to jewellery, gardens to kitchens. Otherwise you’ll find her with her 2 teenage girls, or cooking or eating out with friends and family. Travelling to far-flung places is also a bit of an obsession.

Neil Stinchcombe

Neil Stinchcombe - Director - Follow on twitter

Prior to becoming a director with Eskenzi PR, Neil Stinchcombe was the European Financial Director and MD of the French subsidiary of software development company Datawatch. As a result, he brings a unique first-hand view of working in the IT market. He has also worked on corporate strategy, reporting directly to board level at NASDAQ (Datawatch) and London Stock Exchange quoted companies (Tate & Lyle plc and WPP plc). Whilst at Eskenzi PR, Neil has worked with clients in the following sectors: Information Security, Broadcast, Telecoms, e-business, wireless, mobile data, electronics and billing systems. Neil is also on the UK Advisory Board for ISSA, as well as a member of ISACA and ISSA.

In the PR Week Most Rated Agencies by the journalists Neil was described as “Always fast off the mark and helpful”, “A man with a real drive for excellence in PR”, “No shrinking violet and his determination in ensuring his clients are at the top of the agenda is excellent.”

When Neil isn’t working overtime for his clients, checking the books and overseeing the computer systems he is striving to become an advanced practitioner in NLP and learning to cope with an entirely female household and office!

Darshna Kamani

Darshna Kamani, Senior Account Manager - LinkedIn Profile

Darshna has more than six years’ PR experience. Darshna not only has experience in technical PR but prior to joining Eskenzi PR worked in consumer PR promoting Rightmove.co.uk on a number of monthly research projects and promoting the company in the national and trade press to maintain the brand as the No.1 property website.

Her degree in Information Systems Engineering, which she graduated with first class honours, and interest in all things technical led her to Eskenzi PR where she has been able to use her technical knowledge to understand various aspects of the industry as well as discuss issues with the press and promote clients in order to not only get them in trade publications but also in the nationals.

Darshna has promoted a number of clients including Infosecurity Europe, Imperva, Tufin Technologies, Napatech and AlienVault, during which she has been able to put her tech background to good use.

In the PR Week Most Rated Agencies by the journalists Darshna’s work is described as exemplary.

Away from her work, Darshna spends her time choreographing dance routines to a fusion of Bollywood and Western beats and regularly performs at various high-profile events. The rest of her spare time she dedicates to her 1 year old daughter, experiments with different cuisines in the kitchen and supports Tottenham Hotspur.

Dulcie McLearie

Her previous experience includes business and financial PR, working in Citigate Dewe Rogerson (now owned by Huntsworth plc), where she handled all aspects of financial calendar PR including quarterly, interim and preliminary financial results, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs (flotations) and crisis management for many FTSE 100 clients. She then cut her hi-tech teeth with Strategic Alliance, a B2B agency, where she developed a passion for security and a love of writing.

When not tapping away on her keyboard, Dulcie enjoys spending time trampling around in the woods with her GPS searching for treasure - or ‘geocaching’ as it’s more widely known.

Hannah has had hands-on experience with Infosecurity Europe 2012, where she dealt with more than 300 exhibitors; she also helps to promote ISACA which has given her great insight into the IT security world.
