Infosecurity Europe and Eskenzi look back over a 17 year partnership

Not many PR agencies can claim that they’ve worked with a client for 17 years and indeed at Reed Exhibitions there hasn’t been a show that has retained their PR agency for that length of time.  Both the agency and the event started the same year and have grown symbiotically alongside each other and 2014 will be the first year that both organisations have mutually decided not to work together in the same capacity.

Claire Sellick, Event director said “After having worked with Eskenzi PR for an unprecedented and very successful 17 years we look back on our significant and mutual achievements with huge pride. Over the many years of collaboration on Infosecurity Europe we have developed a unique and very special business relationship with the Eskenzi team and together we have shared in the success and growth of what our mutual businesses are today.  Eskenzi has been responsible for delivering unparalleled levels of high profile PR for the Infosecurity Europe event and as a PR company specialising in IT security has taken on many Infosecurity Europe clients as customers who have witnessed their PR expertise and skills.

As we move forward with the rebrand and brand refresh of Infosecurity Europe and new strategic direction,  and the Eskenzi PR  expands into new offices, heartfelt thanks to Yvonne and Neil (and their extended team) for their contribution to making the show such a PR success and wish them well  in their new endeavours.  This of course is not a goodbye as we will continue to work with Eskenzi and their mutual IT security clients for the event and we look forward to working with them in a new capacity going forward, possibly for another 17 years!”

Neil Stinchcombe – director at Eskenzi PR said “Infosecurity Europe without question has been one of the best clients we have ever worked with and we have definitely shared so many funny experiences and happy memories.  For many years we ran the password survey where we gave away chocolate bars in exchange for people’s passwords.   We’ve made so many friends from the show with a couple who actually now work for us.

However as Eskenzi has grown with a PR team in the US, Germany and France, we want to concentrate on our core IT security clients and expand our portfolio into complimentary technology markets. Our goal is to bring new clients from these sectors to Infosecurity Europe as it continues its successful growth into a wide range of security-related technology areas. We have really enjoyed working with Claire and the team and our longstanding relationship with Infosecurity Europe has been instrumental in developing and shaping our business over the years into what it is today.  It will also be so nice after 17 years to actually have Easter off – although as Claire says we’ll still be heavily involved with 15 clients participating.”
