Raising Armis’ UK Profile: Broadening Perception and Driving Media Impact Ahead of IPO

In 2021, Armis approached Eskenzi PR to help publicise the company’s funding rounds and build interest on the road to its forthcoming IPO. Until that point, Armis had been pigeonholed in the media as an IoT management platform in industrial settings, but the company had much wider capabilities to address risk stemming from all devices within an organisation’s airspace, managed and unmanaged.

Importantly, Armis technology could be used in all industry sectors, with a specific focus on healthcare, manufacturing, enterprise and finance industries. In addition, the intelligence arm of the company had been uncovering some unique and far-reaching vulnerabilities in different industries that were ripe for communicating to the media.

Between 2021 and 2023, Eskenzi worked with Armis to build up its profile, insert its spokespeople into important conversations about regulations, high-profile data breaches and issues that come with not being able to see every device on the network. We also conducted two Freedom of Information research with NHS Trusts, resulting in national press coverage in the Telegraph and Evening Standard.

Armis also won several awards during this time: National Technology Awards for Tech Growth Company of the Year, Emerging Vendor in the CRN Channel Awards, One of Manufacturing’s Top 10 cybersecurity Vendors, and #1 in TechRound’s SaaS.
