Infosecurity checklist

Infosecurity Europe 2022 is just days away.

At Infosecurity, attendees have the opportunity to learn from experts, stay updated on the latest tech, network, and walk away with stronger cybersecurity knowledge. As COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, the cybersecurity community is eager to connect. Infosecurity is the perfect place to visit with familiar faces as well as expand your connections. This year, the exhibition is offering many programs such as workshops, speakers, roundtable discussions, and showcases.

At Eskenzi PR, we thoroughly prepare for Infosecurity months in advance. The team works with clients to organise, create surveys, and strategise to make their experience at Infosecurity successful. Through our services, we help connect cybersecurity companies with the right audiences. Speaking with the Eskenzi PR team, here are some of our top tips for vendors and attendees.

Vendors should know their goals for the event.

In an event like Infosecurity, where there are many attendees, vendors, and clients, it is important that your company has goals for the messaging and information you want to present. Eskenzi PR helps work with clients on strategies before, during, and after the event to help with attracting the press, selling products, or releasing news. For example, Eskenzi PR works with clients to create surveys to carry out at the event. Surveys are a good chance to get opinions and thoughts on the show and keep the momentum going afterward with marketing and PR.

Tell a story using social media.

To prepare for Infosecurity it is important to engage with your audience and welcome them, especially on social media. Platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram allow companies to further connect with their audience, establishing a trusted relationship. Eskenzi PR believes it is best to tell a personal story your following can connect with. Let attendees know your company, why they should attend your booth, and what to look forward to such as; interactive demonstrations, giveaways, and surprises. Highlight the best aspects of your booth to market and get attendees excited.

Attract attendees to your stand.

At Infosecurity, it is important that you are attracting as many people, either through incentives or by being as big and loud as possible. Eskenzi remembers clients who have had success with giveaways, personalised merch, arcade games, and even racing simulators. Just remember it is important that attendees come for the cool stand, but stay for your messaging. A welcoming spokesperson is important to make attendees comfortable and willing to hear your message.

How to get the most out of your time.

Infosecurity should also be a chance to look at potential learning and networking opportunities. This tip goes hand-in-hand with our first tip on making sure you are getting what you want out of the event. Make sure to utilise Infosecurity’s “My Plan” website feature to not miss out on any events and speakers that are at the top of your list. Utilising extra events such as the Press Lunch, and the Blogger Awards that Eskenzi PR puts together can help you achieve your goals. It is important as you are networking with potential clients and press that you are staying authentic, as a more personable experience keeps you on top of a person’s mind.

Most Importantly, make sure to enjoy your time at Infosecurity back in person – we look forward to seeing you there!
